2007 African Ministry

Brother Wilson Maungo (seen with wife Pam below right is a Pastor in Kenya and Uganda. He was my roommate in Missionary Training School and has planted 30 plus churches in those two countries. Brother Wilson invited me to Africa this past October-November, and the result was a tremendous burden for the people there. Many have shared in that burden, including numerous inmates who send money monthly designated "Africa." During my weekly prison discipleship programs at Belmont, Trumbull, Noble and North Central Institutions, I teach inmates a primary root of any addiction is self-centeredness, and to overcome self-centeredness you must see the needs of others before your own. What a blessing to see teaching put into action!

Ireland 2007

Last year's mission trip touched hearts and changed lives. So we've been asked to come back again! I'll be leaving August 7th. John Schmid will allready be there when I get there, and, for the most part, I'll be ministering separately, but there are times when our ministry schedules will overlap, and I'm so looking forward to John's concert on August 10 (poster below) with a special guest appearance by Melanie!
