Africa
I was standing at the back exit of the church shaking hands with the congregation as they went out; I felt someone take a hold of my left hand, and I looked down to see an orphan girl in a tattered green dress looking up at me. She was holding my hand as if she were my little girl, just waiting for me to finish up and then take her home. That was a hard hand to let go of, so I didn’t. I’m still holding that little hand in my mind, in my heart, in my soul. The Lord has given me a tremendous burden for the people of Africa and a vision. I can’t meet all of the formidable needs I saw while visiting 11 churches and orphanages; but with your support, and in His power we can help change the lives of 70 orphans, some of whom you see in these pictures. God is aware we can’t help everybody. All He expects from us is do what we can in His name. Won’t you please help?
January 2007 – We Care
This January, as I have for the past two Januarys, I’ll be taking part in the We Care Prison Crusade in Alabama. I am going to miss working with the Berge Family (shown at left, 
Becky, me, Ken, and Melanie at last year’s crusade). This year they will not be able to attend. They will be missed! However, they have invited me to come to Bemidji in August for their Blue Grass Gospel Festival, and I’m excited about that! If you think you may be interested in attending the festival, please contact me at my website. It will be a great time!
Ireland 2007
Last year’s mission trip touched hearts and changed lives. God was glorified. This year I’ve been asked back, and I have the opportunity of bringing a group with me to help with the mission work.
