Changed Lives Prison Ministry Banquet
October 19, 2007
2007 Ireland Ministry
I made two trips to Ireland this past year. What does that have to do with prison ministry? Changed Lives never has been “just a prison ministry”; it’s a Gospel preaching ministry with a prison ministry emphasis. The Gospel is life changing, and we are commissioned by the Lord Himself to preach it throughout the world. Ireland is a Catholic nation; Bible believing churches meet in houses or in community centers. I would share at several of these. I shared Christ with a small youth group in Dunfanaghy and again with a young Iranian woman in Derry. I was invited to be a guest speaker/debater at the University College Dublin, where I met a student from Paris. We’re preaching the Gospel, and we’re reaching the world.
Late night/early the next morning fellowship after a tremendous concert featuring John Schmid in Falcarragh.
Marion Gavin (originally from East Germany, now living with her husband Declan and daughter Fiona in Ireland) has a correspondence ministry with death row inmates here in the States.
Little Ryan whose father is dead and mother is an alcoholic. Ryan and I became friends, and I was able to share Jesus with his mom.
Lake Itasca Family Music Festival
The Lake Itasca Family Music Festival in Bemidji, MN, with the Berge Family was a wonderful time of sharing testimonies and praising the Lord. God is so Good!
